What is the CVV number and where do I find it?

The CVV (Card Verification Value) is a 3-digit number on the back of your credit or debit card, usually next to the signature strip. You’ll find it on cards with the VISA® or MasterCard® logo.

This code helps confirm that you have the physical card when making an online purchase, adding an extra layer of security to help prevent fraud.

Important:

Your CVV is not the same as your PIN (Personal Identification Number). Never enter your PIN when asked for your CVV. Your PIN is used for ATMs or in-person purchases, not for online payments.
